Electing not to draw
November 23, 2004
I was going to do a political cartoon this month, but decided that I don't necessarily need to let the world know what side of the fence I stand on. The fact of the matter is, I don't stand on either side. I stay away from the fence. I hate politics. I am get very frustrated when people try to get me to talk about what party I belong to. I have mainly voted Republican in the past, but I don't limit myself to one frame of mind. Various issues need to be looked at differently and I usually get disappointed at the voting results anyway. As a matter of fact, I made a t-shirt design to show what I thought of this year's (as well as any year's) election (http://cafeshops.com/policy2). Anyway, I don't want to get my comic bogged down in election stuff, so I didn't finish it.

Getting it together
September 24, 2004
This comic drawing is a bit harder than I thought it would be, but I'm doing much better than I did when I started. The worst part is that I am not satisfied with the artwork. I am currently using a mouse on my girlfriend's iMac. I think once I can get a PC with Photoshop (though this one is okay) or Paintshop, and a scanner, and/or one of those drawing boards, the quality will be better. I know I don't have a fanbase at this time, but I am going to put a donation button on my site anyway. Maybe people will enjoy my comic for $1, maybe someone with a bunch of money they earned off eBay will give me $100 (wishes wishes). As for storys, I'll be trying to use my life and my frustrations at the world to become humorous. You can go to the links page to see the artists that inspired me...
